Job Description

This is a one year temporary appointment as a Strategic Planning & Economic Development Program Coordinator for the University Center for Economic Development (UCED) in the College of Business.
The College of Business, University Center for Economic Development Strategic Planning and Economic Development Coordinator will assist Center faculty in the preparation of strategic community, organizational, and economic development plans for assigned Regional Development Authorities (RDA's) and for other public sector, private sector, and non-profit organizations as assigned including local and regional government agencies. Duties will include reporting, program development, program facilitation, contract proposals, and budget development and reconciliation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two years of related work experience; OR a Master's Degree and one year of related work experience.
Related Experience:
Economics, planning, public administration, business administration, public policy or related field
Professional experience in developing, writing, implementing and administering strategic plans.
Preferred Qualifications

Schedule or Travel Requirements
Travel within the State of Nevada in order to facilitate strategic planning workshops and other related work is required as necessary and as required by ongoing work between the Center and contracted public-sector, private-sector, and non-profit agencies, firms, and organizations
