General Description
The Intake Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Career Navigators ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to all customers. They will be the driving force behind creating a seamless and positive customer experience from the moment candidates enter the career center and responsible for establishing processes and empowering the team to provide exceptional service. This role requires a strong commitment to accountability, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, developing/coaching, planning/organizing, resilience, and team building. This is a 3 month temporary position.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 7 Career Navigators
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability in serving as the first point of contact for all customers that enter the career center.
  • Monitor department performance and ensures team is properly trained
  • Oversee all site operations and activities to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Evaluate and enhance the center's process flows while assisting with navigating the center's partner relationships.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the diverse needs of customers and community partners.
  • Analyze customer feedback and operational data to identify areas for improvement in the intake process. Use these insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous enhancement of the customer experience.
  • Work with the training department to co-manage alternative engagement activities for clients
  • Oversee all ABAWD activity and core assignments
  • Adapt to changing customer needs and community priorities, continuously seeking to improve the intake process and expand the range of services offered.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment among the Intake Team and partner organizations, leveraging the strengths of everyone to deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of related experience working in job development and placement with diverse populations, including hard-to-serve populations
  • Thorough understanding of the local job market and economic trends
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as other database programs such as Salesforce
  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities, tasks, or project requirements, and think critically to find solutions efficiently.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $74,000
