How much do economic geology internship jobs pay per year?
What is the difference between Economic Geology Internship vs Geoscience Internship?
| Aspect | Economic Geology Internship | Geoscience Internship |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Typically requires geology or earth science coursework, sometimes with specialization in economic geology | Requires general geology or earth science background, no specialization needed |
| Work Environment | Field sites, mining companies, exploration firms | Varied settings including labs, fieldwork, research institutions |
| Industry Usage | Primarily in mineral exploration and mining industries | Broader geoscience sectors including environmental, academic, and resource industries |
Economic Geology Internships focus on mineral deposits and mining exploration, often within the mining industry, while Geoscience Internships cover a wider range of earth science topics. Both roles involve fieldwork and lab work but differ in industry focus and specialization.
