Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of mission-critical infrastructure projects, with an initial focus on structural steel and a defined path to expand into additional disciplines and scopes. This role oversees project delivery from planning through completion, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction activities.
Operating in fast-paced industrial and data center environments, the Project Manager drives schedule adherence, cost control, and quality standards while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The position plays a key role in delivering large-scale projects where speed, precision, and scalability are critical, and is structured to support growth into broader technical and program leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer documents, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive end-to-end estimates for structural steel and additional scopes and disciplines within the hyperscale data center portfolio.

  • Oversee the full bid process, managing tight deadlines, subcontractor solicitations, and proposal development to ensure competitive, accurate, and timely submissions.

  • Lead end-to-end project management for structural steel and additional scopes and disciplines-including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure-while preparing to seamlessly transition into additional disciplines as portfolio demands expand.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and logistical issues and drive project success in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

  • Monitor project progress against key milestones and hyperscale-specific KPIs, proactively identifying risks (schedule compression, supply-chain volatility, or scope creep) and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

  • Manage estimating, document control, scheduling, resource allocation, logistics, and subcontractor performance to maintain budget, schedule, and quality targets typical of mission critical programs.

  • Foster strong client relationships through regular communication, transparent status reporting, proactive problem-solving, and value-added recommendations that support long-term portfolio partnerships.

  • Travel up to 25% of the time.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in industrial or data center construction, emphasizing structural steel delivery.

  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle for steel infrastructure and building scopes.

  • Experience with estimating, bidding, subcontractor management, and hyperscale schedule compression.

  • Proficiency in relevant software (Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD/Revit, or equivalent).

  • Ability and willingness to expand technical scope into additional disciplines.

  • Solid problem-solving, organizational, and client-facing skills.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of project management principles across the full lifecycle, including estimating, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout

  • Familiarity with mission-critical and data center project requirements, including aggressive schedules, coordination complexity, and quality standards

  • Working knowledge of construction contract documents, specifications, and commercial terms

  • Ability to drive projects forward and resolve issues across multiple disciplines

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and structured project documentation and reporting

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and build strong client relationships

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, subcontractors, and field teams

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project data, track KPIs, and drive performance improvements

  • Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and accountability
