POSITION OVERVIEW
The eCommerce Marketplace Manager is responsible for managing and growing AliMed's presence and performance across third-party ecommerce marketplaces, with a primary focus on Amazon and the potential expansion into additional marketplace channels. This role owns day-to-day marketplace operations while developing and executing strategies to increase revenue, improve customer engagement, optimize product visibility, and maximize profitability.
The eCommerce Marketplace Manager oversees marketplace listings, merchandising, pricing coordination, promotions, inventory alignment, content optimization, analytics, and marketplace relationships. In addition, this role supports broader eCommerce initiatives and website campaigns designed to drive online revenue and enhance the customer experience.
Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Digital Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, Finance, and IT, this position serves as the internal subject matter expert on marketplace performance and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, commercially minded, and comfortable balancing strategic marketplace initiatives with hands-on execution.
This role is hybrid and requires regular onsite presence at our Dedham, MA office. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase marketplace sales, profitability, and product visibility.
  • Manage day-to-day marketplace operations, including product listings, content optimization, merchandising, inventory monitoring, and pricing analysis.
  • Monitor marketplace performance and provide reporting, insights, and recommendations to improve traffic, conversion, and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product assortment, improve search rankings, and enhance the customer experience across marketplace channels.
  • Coordinate marketplace promotions, campaigns, and new product launches.
  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care to ensure accurate product content, pricing, inventory availability, and operational alignment.
  • Monitor marketplace trends, competitor activity, policies, and best practices to support ongoing channel growth and compliance.
  • Oversee day-to-day marketplace operations including listings, inventory monitoring, fulfillment performance, returns, cancellations, and customer experience.
  • Support website campaigns and eCommerce initiatives designed to drive customer engagement and online revenue.
  • Utilize analytics and reporting tools to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and marketplace planning activities.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing team members to improve the customer journey and overall ecommerce performance.
  • Serve as the primary internal resource for marketplace-related initiatives and recommendations.
  • Help coordinate and execute digital commerce priorities across multiple stakeholders and departments.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in ecommerce, online marketplaces, digital merchandising, or related digital commerce roles.
  • Hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central and/or other marketplace platforms.
  • Experience managing and optimizing marketplace content.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting and analytics tools such as GA4, Power BI, Excel, or marketplace reporting platforms.
  • Understanding of ecommerce merchandising, product content optimization, pricing strategies, and online sales performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to >10 lbs.
