E-Commerce & Amazon Marketplace Specialist

RaceChoice LLC

Middletown, CT • On-site

$45K - $60K/yr

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, PTO

Re-posted yesterday

Job description

Eat. Sleep. Race. That's been the philosophy at RaceChoice for more than 15 years.
Based in Middletown, CT, RaceChoice is a motorsports retailer specializing in racing safety equipment, performance parts, and accessories for amateurs and pros alike. From Legend Cars to sprint cars, midgets to drag racers, autocross to karting — if it goes fast and needs gear, our customers come to us.
We started because we were racers ourselves who got tired of overpaying for quality parts. Our friends needed the same gear, and it grew from there. Today, we offer the best brands in the world at prices that keep racers on the track, not in the red.
We're a tight team that genuinely loves what we do. As we continue to grow our Amazon presence and our store at RaceChoice.com, we're looking for someone who shares that passion — or at least respects it — to help us take our e-commerce operation to the next level.
**The Role**
We're hiring a detail-oriented E-Commerce Specialist to take ownership of our Amazon selling accounts and help elevate our website. This role is based primarily out of RaceChoice, with some overlapping e-commerce responsibilities supporting our sister company, GoFast Solutions — a 12-volt car audio and accessories distributor sharing the same Middletown location.
If you live and breathe online retail, love motorsports and car culture, and get satisfaction from clean data, optimized listings, and a well-run store — we want to talk to you.
**What You'll Do**
Amazon Marketplace Management
- Monitor daily health and performance of our Amazon Seller Central accounts
- List new products with optimized titles, bullet points, descriptions, and images
- Audit existing listings to ensure they are live, accurate, and competitively priced
- Run sell-through reports and partner with our Purchasing Department to keep FBA inventory replenished
- Identify slow-movers, stranded inventory, and pricing issues before they become problems
- Resolve listing errors, suppressed ASINs, and case work through Seller Central
WooCommerce / Big Commerce Website Management
- Improve site structure, category organization, and on-page merchandising
- Create and maintain accurate product listings with strong content and imagery
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience, search, and conversion
- Keep pricing, stock levels, and product data synchronized and clean
Cross-Company & General E-Commerce Support
- Support overlapping e-commerce initiatives between RaceChoice and GoFast Solutions
- Pull and analyze sales, inventory, and performance reports
- Collaborate with purchasing, marketing, and operations across both businesses
- Take on additional e-commerce and data projects as our online presence grows
**What We're Looking For**
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central (FBA experience required)
- Working knowledge of website platforms such as BigCommerce & Woocommerce
- Strong Excel skills
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage thousands of SKUs without losing track
- Self-starter who can prioritize, follow through, and flag issues proactively
- Strong written communication for product content and internal coordination
- Ability to context-switch between two related businesses and keep work organized
- Bonus: an interest in motorsports, racing, or 12-volt/car audio products; familiarity with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar tools; basic Photoshop or image editing skills
**The Details**
- Location: On-site in Middletown, CT (695 Middle Street)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Compensation: $45,000 – $60,000/year based on experience
- Benefits package included
- Performance-based incentives on top of base salary
**Why Join Us**
- Two established, growing businesses under one roof — motorsports and 12-volt car audio
- Collaborative environment with direct access to ownership and decision-makers
- Real ownership of your work — you'll see the impact of your decisions in real time
- Performance-driven culture that rewards results
- Exposure to multiple sides of e-commerce across two distinct customer bases
**How to Apply**
Send your resume and a brief note about your relevant Amazon and website experience. Tell us about a listing, category, or store you improved and what the result was.
