Job description

Job Summary:
The E-commerce Fulfillment Associate is responsible for the end-to-end process of fulfilling online orders picking, packing, shipping, and managing inventory to ensure customers receive their purchases accurately and on time. This role also supports returns processing, inventory counts, and maintains a clean, efficient fulfillment space.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick, pack and ship online (e-commerce) orders in a timely manner.
  • Receive incoming inventory shipments; inspect, unpack, and stage stock for picking.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy; assist with cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Generate shipping labels and documentation using e-commerce/warehouse software.
  • Process returned merchandise: inspect items, restock or dispose per policy, update database.
  • Ensure the fulfillment area is organized, clean and safe. Follow company safety and equipment operation protocols.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, inventory planning, 3PL partners) or external carriers for smooth operations.
  • Meet daily/weekly KPIs: order accuracy rate, picks per hour, on-time shipping, etc.
  • Adapt to special projects as needed (marketing kits, sample bundles, bulk shipments).
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled).
  • Basic computer skills; comfortable learning fulfillment/warehouse management software and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift packages (often up to ~50 lbs, depending on the company).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliable, punctual, with a positive attitude.
