Job description

You are a visionary and dynamic eCommerce Leader with a strong emphasis on eCommerce operations, merchandising, and data driven growth. You are a strategic thinker who thrives in a startup environment and has a passion for entertainment. You will be instrumental in driving our online retail business, improving operational efficiency, and optimizing the customer experience.
What you'll do
  • Develop and implement forward-looking, data-driven strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across all digital channels - improving digital storefront performance
  • Own and evolve the e-commerce roadmap, leveraging analytics to prioritize site enhancements, app integrations, and user experience improvements.
  • Take full ownership of the e-commerce business, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution to deliver measurable results
  • Collaborate w/ Marketing to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, product launches, and merchandising initiatives to maximize conversion and revenue.
  • Optimize media spend and performance across channels by leveraging analytics to align campaigns with KPIs such as ROI, ROAS, CPA, and revenue.
  • Lead rigorous A/B testing to refine campaign performance, using data to inform creative, messaging, and audience segmentation decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze customer behavior and campaign performance, transforming data into actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Marketing & FP&A/Accounting teams to build financial models and provide data-driven recommendations to inform pricing, assortment and promotional decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing eCommerce team, instilling a culture of analytical thinking, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, including agencies, SaaS providers, and platform vendors, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Partner closely with Creative and Merchandising teams to ensure marketing efforts are data-informed and align with the brand's strategic objectives.
  • Leverage analytics to plan and execute on-site campaigns, ensuring seamless integration of promotions, banners, and launches for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with inventory and product teams to align marketing initiatives with inventory trends and sales forecasts.
  • Build financial models and deliver data-driven recommendations to inform
  • decision-making and maximize e-commerce profitability.
  • Use customer segmentation and advanced analytics to create personalized strategies that drive improvements in LTV, AOV, and conversion rates.
  • Scale affiliate and influencer marketing programs with data-backed insights to increase market penetration and brand reach.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging data to maintain a competitive edge in digital commerce.

What you'll bring
  • 10+ years of direct-to-consumer eCommerce experience, with a strong record of analytical and strategic success in e-commerce growth.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage full e-commerce operations, including site experience, merchandising, inventory alignment, and P&L accountability - with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience managing complex product assortments, behavioral analytics, and driving multi-channel digital commerce and retention focused strategies.
  • Background in the fashion, fandom, collectibles space(s) with experience managing complex product assortments and moderate SKU counts.
  • Advanced proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and Excel for transforming large data sets into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus and various performance reporting tools.
  • Understanding of digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, TikTok, Facebook Ads Manager) and tag management systems, with a focus on analytical optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable business strategies, balancing long-term goals with short-term execution.
  • Proven success in building KPIs, dashboards, and streamlined reporting to guide cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a strong ability to synthesize complex data and inspire strategic alignment across departments.
