Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Ecommerce Fulfillment & Warehouse Clerk to join our growing wine ecommerce, distribution, and fulfillment team. This is a hands-on role within an established wine company based in Los Angeles, focused on ecommerce fulfillment, wholesale operations, inventory management, and warehouse support.

In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment of both online and wholesale wine orders. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and maintains high standards of organization, responsibility, and accuracy.

This role requires a high level of precision and efficiency, particularly when handling wine shipments, inventory management, and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Fulfillment:
o Accurately pick, pack, and prepare ecommerce and wholesale wine orders for shipping
o Verify all items against customer invoices and quality control standards
o Organize outgoing shipments by carrier and shipping method
o Coordinate daily carrier pickups including UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments
o Ensure packaging is secure and appropriate for safe wine transportation

• Inventory Management:
o Assist with cycle counts and ongoing inventory accuracy
o Monitor stock movement and maintain organized inventory storage
o Properly label and organize incoming inventory
o Use inventory and ecommerce software systems to update records and track inventory movement
o Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Shipping & Receiving:
o Receive and process incoming inventory shipments
o Restock warehouse shelves and fulfillment areas
o Inspect incoming products for damages or discrepancies
o Log damaged or defective products and assist with returns and exchanges
o Assist with occasional local pickups, deliveries, or warehouse-related errands as needed

• Ecommerce & Operations Support:
o Assist with daily ecommerce order flow and wholesale fulfillment operations
o Support customer satisfaction initiatives and special fulfillment requests
o Handle occasional custom packaging, gift orders, and special projects
o Comfortable working with ecommerce, shipping, and inventory management software
o Experience using ShipStation and FedEx Shipping Manager preferred

• Physical Requirements:
o Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs regularly
o Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
o Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail is a must
• Previous experience in ecommerce fulfillment, warehousing, shipping, logistics, or inventory control preferred
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software preferred
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and ecommerce shipping workflows is a plus
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team-player mindset
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify operational inefficiencies
• Wine knowledge or interest in wine is a plus
• Familiarity with the wine and spirits industry is a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
