Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Specialist to manage and optimize operational execution on the Amazon platform while supporting strategic account management. This position combines hands-on operational responsibilities with internal and external brand management. This role supports Almo’s Consumer Division by ensuring catalog integrity, promotional accuracy, and compliance with Amazon standards while leveraging e-commerce marketplace best practices to drive operational excellence and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts, ensuring product listings, pricing, and promotional details are live, accurate and optimized.
  • Internal and external brand engagement and collaboration, ensuring alignment on goals, promotional strategies, and operational execution.
  • Partner with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) and brand stakeholders to monitor availability, sell-through, and readiness of items, driving growth opportunities.
  • Oversee onboarding and maintenance of SKUs, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Amazon standards and e-commerce best practices.
  • Administer and reconcile Cost Support Agreements (CSAs) and coordinate with finance and sales teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, marketing, compliance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of promotions and operational priorities.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics related to Amazon operations, inventory availability, and promotional effectiveness; share insights with brand partners.
  • Troubleshoot catalog or content issues and ensure all item-level data meets Amazon listing standards.
  • Monitor and resolve SKU suppression issues, listing errors, content compliance violations, and catalog health concerns to ensure products remain active and purchasable.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and recommend strategies to enhance brand presence and profitability on Amazon.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or related experience.
  • 2-4 years of e-commerce account management, marketplace operations, digital merchandising, or online retail experience.
  • Experience managing products, catalogs, content, promotions, or operations on major e-commerce marketplaces such as Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe's, HD Supply, Target Plus, Best Buy Marketplace, Amazon, or similar retail platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage item setup, catalog maintenance, online merchandising, pricing, promotional execution, and inventory availability.
  • Experience managing product catalogs, item setup, digital shelf content, pricing, promotions, and inventory availability across major e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Experience identifying and resolving listing issues, SKU suppressions, content errors, and catalog discrepancies to maintain marketplace compliance and item discoverability.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central is preferred; equivalent experience supporting major eCommerce retailers or marketplace platforms will be considered.
  • Experience managing product catalogs, online merchandising, pricing, promotions, or account operations for Amazon or other major eCommerce retailers is preferred. Ability to resolve Amazon-specific catalog issues, SKU suppressions, stranded inventory, variation relationship issues, and listing compliance violations through Vendor Central and/or Seller Central is preferred Familiarity with Amazon or equivalent major eCommerce retailer tools, analytics platforms, and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Almo product categories (home environment, appliances, etc.) is a plus.
  • Understanding of digital shelf metrics and content optimization best practices.
