Position Overview:

We're seeking a hands-on digital leader to drive Stanley 1913's eCommerce business across the U.S. and Canada. This role leads site merchandising, digital operations, retention marketing (email and SMS), site experience, and performance optimization, partnering closely with teams across planning, operations, brand, technology, marketing, and commercial functions.

You will own the strategy and execution required to grow revenue, margin, conversion, and customer retention while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day business operations. As a collaborative leader, you'll scale processes, enhance the customer experience, and advance Stanley 1913's Direct-to-Consumer channel through data-driven decision making and operational excellence.

This role is accountable for achieving business outcomes, including tracking important metrics, objectives, and key results. The role also manages P&L, performance reporting, and key growth initiatives across the North American DTC business.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the North America DTC eCommerce business, owning the digital customer experience across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Drive site merchandising, assortment strategy, content execution, and promotional planning to deliver revenue and margin growth.
  • Lead conversion, retention, and customer engagement strategies, including email, SMS, SEO, personalization, testing, and site optimization.
  • Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, marketing, brand, technology, analytics, and operations teams to implement scalable growth initiatives.
  • Supervise annual and seasonal business planning, forecasting, critical metric reporting, and P&L performance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing eCommerce team across merchandising, operations, and retention marketing.
  • Continuously improve the customer journey, site experience, search, navigation, checkout, and digital operating models through data, innovation, and AI-driven solutions.
Who You Are:
  • 10+ years with increasing responsibility leading eCommerce for consumer lifestyle brands with a top-tier perspective and deep experience in Shopify
  • Has used AI to materially speed up their team's output (requirements, QA, analysis)
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with global partners
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with senior executives, partners, and external collaborators.
  • Manages a team of 5 or more and provide mentorship. Encourages a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Sets clear expectations and offer timely feedback to build a strong, inclusive, high-performing team.
  • Proven success leading and scaling a significant e-commerce business across multiple markets, in consumer/retail and design-led brand environments.
  • Strong commercial foresight and deep understanding of digital critical metrics, customer behavior, and profitable growth levers while balancing trade-offs across brand, customer experience, and financial outcomes resulting in execution through clear priorities and performance management.
  • Creates alignment and accountability across teams by running effective decision forums and operating process setting clear owners/timelines
  • Leads change and continuous improvement by driving a test-and-learn culture and scaling transformation initiatives (platform, operating model, and process improvements) with strong local adoption.
