Job description

Description:

The Job:

The Director of Growth is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability across Global Healing's portfolio of brands Global Healing, Earth Harmony, and Cielo and optimizing performance across E-commerce, Marketplaces, and Wholesale.

Reporting to the CEO, this leader will develop and execute the company's growth strategy, build the organizational structure needed to achieve it, and ensure strong alignment across sales channels. The role owns consolidated revenue and profit performance, oversees strategic planning and reporting, and partners cross-functionally to remove obstacles to growth.

As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Growth is also expected to champion the practical adoption of AI across the commercial organization, identifying opportunities to improve decision-making, forecasting, productivity, customer insights, and content creation.

Responsibilities:

Revenue and growth strategy

  • Develop and execute a three-year growth strategy supporting Global Healing’s expansion.
  • Own the consolidated revenue and profit plan across E-commerce, Marketplaces, and Wholesale.
  • Accelerate E-commerce and Wholesale growth without limiting healthy Marketplace growth.
  • Define the strategic role of each channel and ensure the channels support the company’s broader brand and business objectives.
  • Identify new growth opportunities across customer acquisition, retention, distribution, product ideas, and collaborations.
  • Evaluate new AI capabilities thoughtfully, balancing speed, accuracy, brand standards, data privacy, and measurable business value.

Channel leadership

  • Lead and develop the managers responsible for Marketplaces and Wholesale.
  • Initially oversee the day-to-day leadership of the E-commerce team.
  • Work with the CEO to recruit and onboard a highly capable E-commerce Manager.
  • Manage clear accountability, goals, and operating expectations for each channel.
  • Preserve strong channel ownership while creating greater coordination across the teams.
  • Build leadership and succession capacity throughout the department.
  • Help team members use AI to improve the quality, speed, and effectiveness of their work.

E-commerce

  • Strengthen GlobalHealing.com and EarthHarmony.com as strategic growth tools.
  • Improve customer acquisition, conversion, retention, repeat purchasing, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Guide the development of marketing campaigns, digital advertising, CRM tools, email, SMS, and customer-retention strategies.
  • Ensure paid-media investments are connected to healthy long-term customer value.
  • Protect the customer relationship, first-party data, brand experience, and educational value that make direct E-commerce strategically important.

Marketplaces

  • Support the Marketplaces Manager on strategy and channel performance.
  • Support the continued growth and profitability of Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other marketplaces.
  • Ensure Marketplace growth complements rather than displaces the company’s DTC and Wholesale strategies.
  • Establish clear guardrails around pricing, promotions, and channel conflict.

Wholesale

  • Support the Wholesale Manager to strengthen planning, account development, and team accountability.
  • Develop strategies to expand relationships with practitioners, retailers, distributors, and strategic accounts.
  • Improve pipeline visibility, account segmentation, and forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities to expand distribution while maintaining brand positioning

Cross-functional leadership

  • Work closely with the Demand Planner, Product Team, Creative Team, Finance Team, and Operations teams.
  • Work closely with the VP of Experience to identify the most effective mix of advertising, media, commercial placements, and brand experiences to increase awareness and support growth objectives.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotional calendars, inventory needs, and channel-specific growth plans.
  • Create clear decision-making processes for pricing, promotions, resource allocation, and cross-channel priorities.
  • Ensure that channel strategies reflect operational capacity, inventory availability, profitability, and long-term brand objectives.
  • Provide the CEO and leadership team with clear reporting, insights, risks, and recommendations.

What Success Looks Like

  • During the first 12 months, the Director of Growth will be expected to:
  • Develop a clear, integrated growth strategy across E-commerce, Marketplaces, and Wholesale.
  • Establish channel plans and performance-management rhythms.
  • Accelerate E-commerce growth.
  • Create a stronger and more scalable operating model for Wholesale.
  • Maintain healthy growth within Marketplaces.
  • Successfully lead the E-commerce team during the transition period.
  • Recruit and onboard a strong E-commerce Manager.
  • Improve coordination around pricing, promotions, launches, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Reduce the CEO’s involvement in routine channel decisions while maintaining strong strategic alignment.
  • Build a clear roadmap toward Global Healing’s goals.
  • Implement several high-value AI-enabled workflows across the sales channels
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of progressive experience in growth, E-commerce, revenue leadership, general management, or channel leadership.
  • Meaningful leadership experience within consumer packaged goods.
  • Experience working for a direct-to-consumer-focused brand.
  • Strong preference for experience in dietary supplements, health and wellness, personal care, food and beverage, or a related regulated category.
  • Demonstrated success scaling a meaningful DTC business.
  • Experience overseeing multiple revenue channels, ideally including DTC, Amazon or other marketplaces, and Wholesale.
  • Full P&L ownership with a strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, profit, customer acquisition costs, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Experience leading managers and building high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to develop strategy and translate it into clear operating plans and measurable execution.
  • Strong forecasting, analytical, financial, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience coordinating pricing, promotions, product launches, inventory, and channel priorities.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a company that develops and manufactures its own products.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Strong curiosity about emerging AI capabilities and a track record of learning and adopting new technologies
