Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Channel & Vendor Relations Specialist to join our team in Cumming, Georgia.

This role will serve as a key point of contact between our company and major e-commerce platform partners, with an initial focus on Amazon. The Specialist will be responsible for platform communication, vendor relationship management, annual commercial negotiations, promotional programs, account health, and day-to-day channel operations.


Key Responsibilities1. Platform & Vendor Relationship Management
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact with Amazon and other e-commerce platform representatives;
  • Maintain regular communication with vendor managers, account contacts, and platform support teams;
  • Coordinate platform resources, programs, promotional opportunities, and operational initiatives;
  • Follow up on open items and platform requests to ensure timely execution;
  • Build and maintain productive long-term relationships with key platform contacts;
  • Coordinate internally across product, advertising, finance, supply chain, and other teams on platform-related initiatives.
2. Annual AVN Negotiation
  • Lead the annual AVN negotiation process with Amazon;
  • Coordinate internal preparation for annual negotiations, including gathering relevant sales, profitability, operational, and commercial data;
  • Analyze proposed terms and evaluate their potential financial and operational impact;
  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish negotiation priorities, targets, and acceptable parameters;
  • Participate in discussions and negotiations with Amazon vendor representatives;
  • Track proposed and agreed commercial terms throughout the negotiation process;
  • Coordinate internal review and approval of key terms;
  • Ensure agreed terms are accurately documented and implemented following completion of the negotiation;
  • Monitor the ongoing business impact of negotiated terms throughout the year.


3. Deals, Coupons & Major Promotional Events
  • Manage the submission and execution of Deals, Coupons, and other promotional programs;
  • Coordinate participation in major events such as Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and other seasonal campaigns;
  • Track deadlines, eligibility requirements, promotional pricing, and execution status;
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure promotional plans are executed accurately and on schedule;
  • Resolve platform-side issues related to promotions and events.


4. Case Management & Account Health
  • Open, manage, and follow up on platform support cases;
  • Drive platform-related operational issues toward timely resolution;
  • Monitor account health and identify potential operational or compliance risks;
  • Escalate critical issues when necessary;
  • Maintain organized records of significant cases, issues, and resolutions.


5. Platform Policies & New Programs
  • Stay current on platform policies, operational requirements, and program changes;
  • Monitor new tools, features, and platform initiatives;
  • Evaluate potential business impact and communicate relevant changes internally;
  • Coordinate adoption and implementation of new platform programs when appropriate.


6. Pricing & Daily Channel Operations
  • Execute and support day-to-day pricing updates;
  • Coordinate promotional pricing and other price-related activities;
  • Monitor channel operations and proactively identify issues requiring attention;
  • Support product, advertising, finance, supply chain, and other internal teams on channel-related matters;
  • Ensure key operational activities are executed accurately and on schedule.


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, marketplace, vendor management, or channel operations;
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon or another major e-commerce platform is strongly preferred;
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with commercial and financial data;
  • Experience supporting negotiations, commercial agreements, or vendor relationships is preferred;
  • Familiarity with Deals, promotional events, platform cases, pricing, and account health processes;
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive issues independently toward resolution;
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience will be given strong consideration:

  • Direct experience with Amazon AVN or annual vendor negotiations;
  • Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central;
  • Experience communicating directly with Amazon Vendor Managers or other Amazon business contacts;
  • Experience analyzing and negotiating commercial terms, allowances, funding, or other vendor agreements;
  • Experience coordinating Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or other major promotional events;
  • Experience resolving complex platform or account issues;
  • Experience working cross-functionally with finance, supply chain, product, and advertising teams.

The successful candidate will ensure that platform communications are handled promptly, promotional opportunities are executed effectively, operational issues are resolved quickly, and annual commercial negotiations are well prepared and supported by data.

While the role will initially focus heavily on Amazon, the scope may expand to additional e-commerce channels as the business grows.
