Job description

Digital Commerce Associate (E-commerce Merchandising & Performance) โ€” Staub

Weโ€™re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Digital Commerce Associate (0โ€“3 years) to help power Staubโ€™s e-commerce business day to day. This role is ideal for someone who combines a genuine love for food, cooking, and Staubโ€™s products with a data-driven mindsetโ€”because great e-commerce isnโ€™t just beautiful merchandising, itโ€™s disciplined execution backed by numbers.

Youโ€™ll support product setup, on-site merchandising, and campaign execution, working closely with cross-functional partners and our in-house performance marketing team to improve traffic quality, conversion, and revenue. Youโ€™ll also contribute to select social selling platforms, but social commerce is a supporting channel, not the core focus.

Working model: hybrid, 3 days per week in-office (Pleasantville, New York).

What youโ€™ll do

E-commerce operations & merchandising (core)

  • Set up and launch new products: item creation, descriptions, imagery/asset coordination, and site readiness checks
  • Maintain product data quality (titles, attributes, pricing, categorization, inventory-related flags where applicable)
  • Execute on-site merchandising updates: homepage/category refreshes, collections, and promotional placements
  • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure launches and updates go live accurately and on time

Performance & analytics (central to success)

  • Monitor and report on site and product performance (sales, conversion, AOV, traffic, best sellers, underperformers)
  • Build and maintain recurring performance reporting in spreadsheets; keep weekly business updates crisp and usable
  • Use data to identify opportunities: what to feature, what to test, what needs fixing (content gaps, pricing/promo issues, UX blockers)
  • Support testing and optimization efforts tied to measurable outcomes (conversion lift, revenue, efficiency)

Campaigning & performance marketing support (with our in-house team)

  • Partner with our in-house performance marketing team on campaign setup support, tracking, and performance monitoring
  • Coordinate product feeds and assets for advertising channels
  • Help translate campaign learnings into merchandising actions (feature winners, adjust promos, improve landing experiences)

Social commerce (supporting responsibility)

  • Maintain product catalogs and pricing/promos on select social commerce platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok Shop)
  • Support merchandising execution and product visibility improvements on these channels as needed

What weโ€™re looking for

  • 0โ€“3+ years experience in e-commerce, retail merchandising, marketplaces, or a related role
  • Strong ownership mindset and attention to detailโ€”this role touches revenue-critical site execution
  • Comfort with numbers and performance metrics; you enjoy using data to decide what to do next
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel / Google Sheets) and the ability to learn tools quickly
  • Clear communicator who can coordinate across teams and keep work moving
  • Genuine enthusiasm for cooking, food culture, and premium cookwareโ€”you care about what we sell, not just how it sells

Nice to have (not required)

  • Familiarity with an e-commerce platform (e.g., SFCC) or marketplaces
  • Exposure to analytics tools and/or paid media reporting
  • Experience supporting promotions, site merchandising, or product feed management

Compensation Range: $60,000.00- $75000.00 per year contingent upon experience
