Goodwill Southern California is hiring an E-Commerce Production Associate to join our incredibly entrepreneurial team. You will be part of a growing e-commerce team that is focused on growing direct-to-consumer sales, improving the web shopping experience and updating web content for effective merchandising. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of e-commerce in an entry level position. The Production Associate should be highly organized and comfortable with data entry and excel. Candidates should have a passion for Goodwill's mission, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
What you'll do:
Sorting & Inventory Intake
  • Receive, sort, label, and scan incoming merchandise and donations.
  • Load and unload trucks and support material handling as needed.

Quality Control & Product Evaluation
  • Inspect merchandise to assess quality and sale readiness.
  • Use systems (e.g., NOS) to complete product check-in and quality control.
  • Research items to determine product details, value, and appropriate titles.
  • Operate testing tools or equipment as needed (e.g., for jewelry or specialty items).

Listing & Product Preparation
  • Photograph merchandise and create accurate product descriptions.
  • List items for sale in accordance with established standards.

Production & Performance
  • Meet or exceed daily processing and production goals.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and records.

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all safety guidelines and product flow processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 1 year of experience in retail, warehouse, production, or a related environment preferred.
  • Experience handling merchandise, sorting, or working with inventory is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
  • Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
