Software engineers using Eclipse in large-scale projects often encounter challenges such as managing numerous plugins, ensuring compatibility across team members' environments, and maintaining consistent code formatting standards. The IDE's flexibility can lead to differing configurations, which sometimes causes build issues or integration problems. To address these challenges, teams typically establish standardized Eclipse setups and use version-controlled project settings to promote consistency. Regular communication and documentation also help streamline collaboration and troubleshooting within the team.
