The person will be working with young children, some of whom might weigh more than 50 pounds. The job requires that someone is able to get down and up from the floor and arrange the classroom as needed.

7:30 to 4:30 pm; Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week.
Job Summary
The Early Childhood Laboratory School at the University of Kentucky seeks a Preschool Teacher.
This position will:
  •  Teach children three to five years old, with and without disabilities.
  •  Plan, implement, and evaluate curriculum based on assessment information gathered on each child, and in accordance with philosophy of ECL
  •  Collaborate with IECE faculty, families of children in classroom, and related service personnel who provide services to children with disabilities
  •  Supervise student workers and follow budgetary requirements of ECL
  •  Participate in regular professional development and maintain all mandated certificates required for those working in a licensed childcare program
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Teaching Certificate in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience
Teaching Certificate in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. Experience with early childhood development.
