Job description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a cardiovascular unit performing TTE, TEE, and Cath Lab/OR support procedures, requiring RDCS or RCS certification.
Job Details
• Cardiovascular unit providing inpatient and outpatient echo services,
• Inpatient care limited to acute cases on weekends,
• 1:1 patient ratio,
• Performs Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiograms,
• Assists providers in the Cath Lab for TAVR and Watchman procedures,
• Assists in the OR for CABG and valve procedures,
• Uses GE Vivid E95s ultrasound equipment,
• Documentation via Merge and Meditech EHR systems,
• 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM,
• Works every 3rd weekend,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer,
• Current BLS certification,
• RDCS or RCS certification required,
• License required if applicable,
• Experience assisting with Cath Lab and OR cardiac procedures preferred,
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

• Scrubs required as part of dress code,
• Schedule requests will be accommodated when possible,
• First-time travelers may be considered,
• Local candidates not accepted; 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
