Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $22–$28 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
About Little Scholars Academy:

Our team is passionate about fostering early learning through engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team and support children during this critical stage of development.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  •  Design and maintain a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
  •  Arrange learning centers to encourage independence, creativity, and hands-on exploration• Create clearly defined areas for small group, large group, dramatic play, art, literacy, and quiet time
  •  Ensure materials are labeled, accessible, and rotated regularly to support curriculum goals
  •  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that meets licensing and health regulations
  •  Implement visual schedules and organized routines to promote smooth transitions
  • Monitor and maintain classroom supplies and learning materialsPlanning and leading engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
  • Supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development
  • Creating a classroom environment that is nurturing, inclusive, and safe
  • Collaborating with families and fellow staff members to ensure each child’s success
  • Observing and documenting developmental milestones
  • Upholding MN state childcare licensing standards and center policies

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum AA Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or obtain in 30 days of employment)
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A positive, dependable, and caring attitude toward children and team members
