Oracle EBS Techno‑Functional Consultant ONSITE USA

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) Techno‑Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Financials and PL/SQL. This role will primarily focus on daily operations and production support for Oracle EBS applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving support tickets across Oracle EBS SCM and Financial modules, ensuring adherence to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This position requires hands-on involvement in troubleshooting sub‑ledger month‑end close issues, executing programs for both technical and functional analysis, and collaborating closely with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day production support for Oracle EBS Financials, HR and SCM applications
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Oracle EBS issues within defined SLAs
  • Support sub‑ledger and month‑end close activities
  • Execute and analyze technical and functional programs to identify process issues
  • Collaborate with business SMEs and process consultants to understand end‑to‑end business processes
  • Identify automation opportunities and provide recommendations based on Oracle Discoverer and reporting discussions
  • Implement temporary or permanent fixes and drive issues to root‑cause resolution
  • Communicate effectively with technical, business, and management teams

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to work remotely within the United States with willingness to travel for major milestones
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS application development and production support
  • 10+ years of techno‑functional experience supporting Oracle Financial modules
  • Experience with Oracle SCM modules is a plus
  • Strong ability to review and troubleshoot complex PL/SQL procedures and packages, particularly for production and month‑end issues
  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow
  • Experience with Oracle Discoverer development and support
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical solutions to cross‑functional audiences
  • Experience working in a global delivery and distributed team environment

 HIRING SALARY RANGE: $100,000-$135,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
