What you'll be doing:

As a member of the nursing leadership team, the Nurse House Supervisor supports teammates in providing a safe environment for patients and teammates through the coordination and evaluation of the unit under the general direction of the Nurse Director.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members
  • Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties
  • Uses the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team's level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
  • Ensures efficient and effective unit operations including sufficient supplies and adjusts staffing as necessary
  • Assists with scheduling teammates to cover open shifts
  • Completes monthly audits and checklists
  • Assures unit compliance with policies and procedures that meet accreditation and licensing requirements, including reviewing and following up on incident reports
  • Serves as a resource and primary point of contact regarding clinical questions, policies, and procedures
  • Provides direct patent care as necessary
  • Assists teammates with patient care responsibilities including milieu and crisis management

Must haves:

  • Associate's degree in nursing (required)
  • Unrestricted RN license in state where assigned (required)
  • 1+ year of direct patient care experience (required)
  • Attention to detail (required)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to lead, motivate and inspire others (required)

Bonus qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
  • 1+ years of supervising others or leading teams (preferred)
  • 1+ years of experience treating patients with eating disorders (preferred)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

Washington Pay Range
$49.52—$60.21 USD
