Job description

Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.

We are seeking an Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work at Rosewood Ranch located in Wickenburg, AZ.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations.
  • Meet weekly with patients for ongoing follow-up sessions.
  • Maintain current and correct progress notes.
  • Psychotropic medication management.
  • Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed.
  • Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate.
  • Provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning.
  • Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility, and practice within the scope of a PMHNP.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Advanced Practice Nursing on a PMHNP track, at minimum, from an accredited program.
  • Board Certified by the ANCC as PMHNP.
  • Current license as APRN or PCNS, or be license-eligible.
  • Must hold or obtain CPR / BLS certificate prior to providing services.
  • A minimum of 1+ years experience working independently as NP is required.
