Which easy tech associate job is easy to get?

Entry-level tech associate positions that require minimal experience, such as retail tech support or basic customer service roles, tend to be easier to obtain. These jobs often value basic technical knowledge, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn, with some requiring only a high school diploma or equivalent.

What are some common challenges Easy Tech Associates face when assisting customers, and how can they best handle these situations?

Easy Tech Associates often encounter customers who are frustrated or confused about their technology issues. The key challenge is to communicate technical solutions in an easy-to-understand way while maintaining patience and professionalism. Associates can best handle these situations by actively listening to the customer's concerns, asking clarifying questions, and breaking down solutions into manageable steps. Building strong customer rapport and staying up to date with the latest tech products also helps ensure positive interactions and effective problem-solving.

This position is located in one of CGI Federal's offices in Fairfax, VA, Lebanon, VA, Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Develop an enterprise-wide business intelligence and reporting strategy, and provide oversight for the implementation of the reporting platform.
• Work with business users and end users to review, refine, and translate business intelligence, data visualization, and dashboard requirements into accurate, high-performing, and easy-to-understand reporting outputs.
• Design, develop, and implement reports and dashboards for large data volumes using technologies such as S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Business Intelligence solutions in BTP (SAP • Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere), BW/4HANA, and CFO Control Tower.
• Create high-level and low-level data product designs based on business and technology requirements.
• Conduct thorough unit and performance testing on business intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Work directly with functional SMEs to conduct client demonstrations of business intelligence reports and dashboards based on defined requirements.
• Configure and implement the reporting platform and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
• Set expectations with the client regarding the scope of the implementation.
• Provide oversight to the reports development team to ensure business intelligence reports and dashboards meet client requirements and are delivered according to the established schedule.
• Provide additional support and guidance during implementation, including developing training materials and other supporting documentation.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Due to the nature of the contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in business intelligence and reporting development, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Business, or a related technical discipline. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) is a plus.
• Proficiency with technologies such as S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Business Intelligence solutions in BTP (SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere), BW/4HANA, and CFO Control Tower, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, design, development, and deployment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex reporting issues and provide clear recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, influences others, and promotes understanding among both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in report output and documentation.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities and Agile methodologies.
Desired qualifications:
• SAP Certified Technology Associate or related SAP certification.
