General Job Description

Mold and Bladder Maintenance Associates change bladders and molds, program tire recipes into the press computer and coordinate mold changes and bladder changes with lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments

  • Operate machinery and equipment

  • Set up and operate the curing press

  • Occasionally check upon the curing press parameters such as temperature, curing time, etc.

  • Provide suggestions for equipment replacement

  • Operate dry ice blasting unit

  • Keep inventory of items needed to maintain production

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment/department

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Hands-on approach/mechanically inclined

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

  • Comfortable with use of heavy equipment

  • Good communication skills

  • Able to adjust focus with changing priorites

  • Good physical condition (occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.)

  • Detail oriented and quality minded

  • Work well in a team environment
