To thrive as a Contract Manager, you need expertise in contract law, negotiation, and risk assessment, typically supported by a degree in law, business, or a related field. Familiarity with contract management software, document management systems, and relevant certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) is highly beneficial. These skills ensure contracts are legally sound, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals, minimizing risk and maximizing value.
