ABOUT CIMARRON TRAILERS

Cimarron Trailers, headquartered in Chickasha, Oklahoma, is a leading American manufacturer of premium livestock, horse, and utility trailers. Built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship and customer trust, Cimarron has earned a reputation across the country for durable, innovative trailers that working ranchers and equine enthusiasts depend on. As we execute our eastern expansion strategy, we are seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to champion the Cimarron brand across the eastern United States and eastern Canada.

The Territory Sales Representative — Eastern Region is a remote, outside sales role responsible for growing Cimarron Trailers' dealer network and driving wholesale revenue across a defined geography east of the Mississippi River to eastern Canada. The successful candidate will inherit and manage a foundation of 12 existing dealer accounts while aggressively prospecting for new dealer partners. This role requires strong business development instincts, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships within the agricultural, equine, and ranching communities.

• Expand the eastern dealer network from the current 12 accounts to a defined growth target

through active prospecting, qualification, and onboarding of new dealer partners.

• Manage, support, and grow existing dealer relationships to maximize sell-through performance

and dealer satisfaction.

• Become the go-to Cimarron resource for eastern dealers — providing product training, sales

support, and market intelligence.

• Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual territory sales targets.

• Establish Cimarron Trailers as the preferred brand in the eastern livestock and horse trailer

segment.

Dealer Development & Prospecting

• Identify, qualify, and recruit new dealership partners across the eastern U.S. and eastern

Canada.

• Conduct in-person dealership visits to present the Cimarron product line, brand story, and

dealer program benefits.

• Negotiate dealer agreements in partnership with sales leadership.

• Coordinate new dealer onboarding, including product training and initial inventory planning.

Existing Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all current eastern territory dealer accounts.

• Conduct regular business reviews with dealers to assess performance, identify opportunities,

and resolve challenges.

• Support dealers with co-op marketing programs, sales events, trade shows, and local

promotions.

• Monitor dealer inventory levels and assist with inventory planning and ordering.

Sales Execution

• Drive wholesale purchase orders from dealer accounts to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual

revenue goals.

• Maintain a disciplined pipeline using CRM tools (activity logging, opportunity tracking,

forecasting).

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and competitive comparisons.

• Attend regional trade shows, livestock events, rodeos, and equine expos to build brand

presence and generate leads.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Track competitor activity, pricing, and product developments across the territory.

• Provide regular territory reports to sales leadership including pipeline status, dealer

performance, and market trends.

• Relay customer and dealer feedback to the product and marketing teams to inform future

development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Minimum 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in agricultural equipment,

trailers, powersports, RV, or related industries.

• Demonstrated success in dealer/distributor channel sales and new account development.

• Strong ability to build rapport and trust with dealers, ranchers, and equine professionals.

• Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of managing a large geographic territory independently.

• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel, across a multistate/provincial territory.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred

• Background in or personal passion for horses, livestock, ranching, or the equine industry.

• Existing relationships with trailer dealers, feed stores, livestock auction houses, or equine

retailers in the eastern U.S. or Canada.

• Experience selling into Canadian markets, including familiarity with cross-border logistics and

regulations.

• Knowledge of trailer construction, towing, and trailer-related regulations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience

• Performance-based commission structure with uncapped earning potential

• Company vehicle or vehicle allowance

• Fuel and travel expense reimbursement

• Health, dental, and vision insurance

• Paid time off and company holidays

• Product knowledge training and ongoing professional development

• Direct access to factory support and leadership team

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE

This position is ideal for a true road warrior who loves the western lifestyle, understands the agricultural and equine communities from the inside, and finds genuine energy in building business relationships. You’re equally comfortable at a dealership sales meeting, a county fair, and a livestock auction. You’re organized enough to manage a large territory independently and competitive enough to push for growth every quarter. You don’t wait for leads to come to you — you go find them.

HOW TO APPLY

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and brief cover letter describing their relevant experience and connection to the western agricultural or equine industry. Applications may be submitted to Human Resources at Cimarron Trailers.

Cimarron Trailers is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
