Job description

Collision Repair Technician
Benefits:
  • CSI is NOT a big corporate shop, and we are seeking those that value this. CSI co-owners work daily at the shop to foster a family feeling work environment, professionalism, integrity, real, and a genuine worthy team effort, while keeping the selfish/complaining types out of the CSI family.
  • We’ve heard plenty of repair technicians at some shops complain that the repair plan does not include time for most of not all of the required procedures for the repair to be done correctly per the manufacturer, and we pride ourselves on having proper repair plans. So, this adds to our repair technician and painters pay compared to some other local repair shops.
  • Heated & cooled 7,500sq' clean shop with top grade equipment (Garmat downdraft booth, Car-o-liner frame machines, digital welder, & resistance welders, scissor lifts for all techs., clean modern office, etc...)
  • Health insurance, paid vacation, match all/part of retirement savings, honest & highly experienced boss, great food, etc.
Job Description:
  • Full tear down, document items needing repair for estimator, measure vehicles using frame machine, repair, and build out auto body damage to create above average to top quality results in a respectably efficient manner. We want our clients' cars back the way it was, not just the easiest version that they won't notice.
  • Never stop learning more about your trade so you can be the best at it, a leader.
  • Be at the shop ready to work at least 8am Monday through Friday (later start times for those consistently turning 80/hours/week).
  • "Combo" auto body technician+painter welcome.
  • Professionally interact with insurance agents and customers (not common), can't let them get you emotional.
Job Requirements:
  • Legal to work in US.
  • 5 years experience in auto body repair (less experience considered).
  • 2 years experience properly executing very difficult auto body repair jobs ("A" tech.)
  • Numerous attendances to auto body repair training classes.
  • Wanting to be allowed to create ONLY high quality results.
  • Honest, constructive, hard+wise working, personable, and able to work & communicate with others without attitude.
  • Must be a true “A” technician (top 5%) with an efficient work process. No sloppy work.
  • Live within a 30 minute drive from Hwy 55 & Hwy 54.
  • Past I-CAR training(s) a plus.
