What to Expect

This is a full-time, day shift summer internship designed to immerse you in the daily operations of a rehabilitation team.

You'll split your time between acute care (hospital setting) and outpatient rehabilitation, gaining insight into how care transitions from inpatient recovery to ongoing therapy. Expect to be on your feet, actively engaged, and learning every day-both clinically and operationally.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current enrollment in (or intent to pursue) a healthcare or rehabilitation-related program preferred (e.g., Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Pre-PT, Pre-OT, or similar)

  • Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Comfort using computers and electronic medical records
  • Ability to safely assist with patient mobility and physical tasks
