Job description

Technical Solutions Manager (TSM) (Europe-based, remote position) The Technical Solutions Manager (TSM) serves as the bridge between EarthDaily's Sales team and the Software Engineering and Product functions, ensuring prospective customers understand how EarthDaily's data, analytics platforms, and AI‐driven insights map to their real‐world operational needs. Working with a variety of end‐user customer types, the TSM leads technical discovery, solution design, and proof‐of‐concept engagements that directly support revenue growth. Responsibilities Pre‐Sales & Solution Design Partner with Sales team members to qualify opportunities, lead technical discovery conversations, and architect tailored solutions.

Design and deliver compelling technical demonstrations, proof‐of‐concept (POC) engagements, and proposals aligned to customer workflows and use cases. Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires with accuracy and commercial awareness. Customer Engagement Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospects and customers through the sales cycle.

Conduct needs assessments to understand technical requirements and objectives. Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders including Software Engineers, Technical Managers, Product Directors, and others. Cross‐Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Product and Software Engineering teams to relay customer feedback, influence the roadmap, and ensure EarthDaily's solutions remain market‐competitive.

Work with Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless technical handoffs post‐sale and support onboarding of new accounts. Contribute to internal knowledge bases, technical playbooks, and demo environments. Other Maintain deep familiarity with EarthDaily's primary target vertical markets: Agriculture; Insurance; Mining, Defense & Intelligence; Forest Management & Wildfire Monitoring and Civil Government.

Monitor competitive landscape. Represent EarthDaily at industry conferences, webinars, and partner events as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Software Engineering, Geography/GIS, Physics/Applied Math, or related field.

5+ years of experience in a technical pre‐sales, solutions engineering, or geospatial consulting role within the remote sensing, geospatial, or Earth observation industry. Prior experience working in a technical‐pre‐sales role in the commercial Earth observation industry may be prioritized. Candidates with experience in one or more of EarthDaily's target verticals may be prioritized.

Toolkit Hands‐on experience with commercial Earth observation and related geospatial data formats, tools, and concepts. Proficiency with at least one relevant programming language or scripting environment (Python preferred). Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‐technical audiences.

Experience working in or supporting cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Exposure to AI/ML applications in Earth observation (e.g., change detection, object classification, time‐series analysis).
