Job description

Location: Chantilly, VA (Government/Contractor SCIF) 100% on-site

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance/TS SCI Preferred

We are seeking a hands‑on ServiceNow Developer to build DIA’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) capability – a controlled asset lifecycle across stockrooms, from receiving through issuance, with reporting into DIA’s Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). You will configure the asset class/category structure, the asset creation and management workflow, NSN/FLIS data staging, and stockroom records through Crawl and Walk.

This role also provides asset‑management development support to the storefront’s fractional Hardware Asset Management (D3) and Software Asset Management (D4) buy/entitle/manage capability, so asset data models and configuration patterns stay consistent across EAM, HAM and SAM.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong hands‑on ServiceNow development experience with Asset Management (EAM/HAM/SAM) applications.
  • Experience building asset class/category structures, lifecycle‑state workflow, and stockroom/warehouse‑style operational models.
  • Experience with NSN/FLIS data staging patterns, duplicate prevention and audit‑trail configuration.
  • Familiarity with catalog‑driven buy/entitle/manage patterns for hardware and software assets.
  • Comfortable configuring reporting feeds into an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure asset class, category and model structure with the approved attribute set for the initial EAM enclave.
  • Build the asset creation and management workflow so asset managers can create, update and transition assets through the approved lifecycle states.
  • Configure NSN and FLIS data staging with duplicate prevention and an audit trail on asset creation.
  • Configure stockroom records and the approved stockroom hierarchy.
  • Build baseline reporting and the EDW reporting framework foundation delivered in Crawl.
  • Deliver Walk‑phase receiving‑through‑issuance capability across multiple stockrooms: receiving, transfers, issuance, returns and the transaction record tying each movement to an asset and an actor.
  • Support the fractional D3 Hardware Asset Management and D4 Software Asset Management configuration so hardware and software offerings and entitlement records stay consistent with the EAM data model.
  • Support testing, training, cutover and operational handoff.
Minimum Experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Success in this role is measured by a working, auditable asset lifecycle in production at IOC and a full receiving‑through‑issuance capability across the approved stockrooms by the close of Walk, built on an asset data model that also supports the HAM and SAM buy/entitle/manage capability.

Must meet degree and years of experience criteria below:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • 12
  • Associates Degree
  • 10
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8
  • Masters Degree
  • 6
  • PhD
  • 4
Required Certifications
  • DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Desired Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management or Software Asset Management
  • ITIL 4 Foundation

Salary Range: $140-230k.

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position
