Job description

No finance degree? No problem. New York Life is hiring motivated individuals in Las Vegas and training them from the ground up — with full licensing support, one-on-one mentorship, and a clear path to six figures. If you're driven, coachable, and great with people, we want to talk to you.

We're growing our Las Vegas team and looking for motivated individuals who want to build a career in financial services — not just work another job. No finance background or licenses required. If you're driven, coachable, and enjoy working with people, we'll teach you everything else.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with individuals, families, and business owners to understand their financial goals
  • Learn to recommend life insurance, retirement, and financial protection strategies
  • Build your client base through referrals, networking, and community relationships
  • Help clients make informed decisions around income protection, retirement, and long-term financial goals
  • Grow your practice and income over time

Who This Is For

We're looking for individuals who:

  • Are motivated and willing to learn
  • Enjoy building relationships and working with people
  • Are coachable and open to feedback
  • Come from backgrounds like sales, hospitality, real estate, banking, education, retail management, teaching, or military service — former teachers, retail managers, real estate agents, bartenders, and veterans have all thrived in this role
  • Are interested in building a long-term career with performance-based income

Both career changers and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.

Licensing Support

No licenses? No problem. We sponsor and support:

  • Life & Health insurance license
  • Series 6 or 7 (FINRA securities registration)
  • Series 63 or 66

We guide you through the process from start to finish.

Training & Support

  • Structured onboarding with experienced professionals
  • One-on-one mentorship from day one
  • Ongoing coaching and development
  • CRM tools, marketing support, and prospecting systems
  • Training allowance available for qualifying new agents

Why Our Las Vegas Team?

Our Las Vegas office is one of the most active and supportive NYL teams in the region. We believe in mentorship over micromanagement — you'll have direct, daily access to experienced advisors who've built successful practices and want to help you do the same. Whether you're making a career change or just starting out, you'll never feel like you're figuring it out alone.

Compensation

This is a performance-based role.

  • Commission, renewal income, and production bonuses
  • First-year income potential: $70,000 – $150,000+
  • Income is not guaranteed and depends on performance, licensing, and contract terms

This role is best suited for individuals who want to build something long-term and grow their income over time.

Benefits (eligible full-time agents)

  • 401(k) with matching
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible schedule
  • Professional development support
