Job description

Engineer Software 2 to support our EA-18G Programs. As a member of the EA-18G software team you’ll get to develop software to support our Growler Block 1 and Growler Block 2 programs. This position will serve on-site at Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office. Responsibilities Develop embedded real-time system software
Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team
Resolve software and system defects
Collaborate with our customer, internal NGC sites and disciplines
Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings
Use project dependent tools including:
Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS
Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
Ada, C/C++, C#, Python
Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux Basic Qualifications for Engineer Software 2 BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 1 years of experience
Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#
Knowledge of object-oriented software development
Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
US Citizenship required
DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Software 2 Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
