Job description

Job Objective:

To oversee the daily operations of the E-Commerce Department, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Manage workflows to support order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and value to meet customer expectations. This position reports to District Manager who evaluates performance annually.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • E-Commerce department employees
  • Program participants assigned to E-Commerce department
Essential Job Functions:
  • Oversee daily e-commerce operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality control, and timely order fulfillment.
  • Schedule staff and equipment to meet customer demands while maintaining organized inventory storage.
  • Design and maintain workstations, ensuring proper material flow and adherence to security measures.
  • Train and develop employees and program participants, providing feedback in collaboration with Mission Services.
  • Manage and update e-commerce platforms, pricing strategies, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and business performance.
  • Maintain professionalism in customer and vendor communication, while monitoring industry trends and business growth opportunities.
  • Administer and oversee employee disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies, ensuring fairness, consistency, and proper documentation.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews by evaluating employee contributions, providing constructive feedback, setting goals for professional development, and fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Education and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or the ability to obtain through The Excel Center.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and hold them accountable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff, customers, and management.
  • Solid understanding of sales, budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory management to ensure store profitability.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills to manage operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Shopify, eBay, Amazon, or proprietary online store systems.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, product listings, and optimizing content for online visibility.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce software, POS systems, shipping tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics.
  • Ability to track sales trends, pricing strategies, and key performance metrics.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and provide proof of insurance to travel to different job sites.
Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
