Position Overview

Coggins Promo is seeking an energetic and highly organized E-Commerce Team Manager to lead our growing e-commerce operations team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day workflow, supporting team members with diverse responsibilities, and ensuring our online platforms, customer programs, and internal projects run smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a natural coach and motivator—someone who loves building team culture, improving processes, and helping people work together toward shared goals. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong project and process management experience, and a positive leadership style that aligns with the Coggins Promo values of teamwork, service, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for e-commerce store builds, order processing, client program support, data entry, and project coordination.
  • Foster a collaborative, upbeat, and solutions-focused team environment.
  • Serve as a supportive “team cheerleader”—encouraging teamwork, recognizing wins, and promoting engagement.
  • Conduct ongoing coaching, performance conversations, and skill development sessions.
  • Support onboarding and role training for new team members.

Project & Process Management

  • Oversee e-commerce projects from concept through execution, including online store launches, updates, seasonal refreshes, product uploads, and workflow improvements.
  • Develop, document, and optimize standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the team.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and manage timelines to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Production, and Customer Service to align project expectations and ensure seamless handoffs.

Operational Oversight

  • Monitor daily workload, identify bottlenecks, and proactively remove obstacles to keep work moving smoothly.
  • Review and refine internal processes related to store setup, order flow, artwork coordination, catalog management, and system updates.
  • Track key performance indicators to ensure productivity, accuracy, and service-level goals are met.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that elevate the client and end-user experience.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a central point of coordination for e-commerce program updates, internal communication, and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to share priorities, celebrate wins, and clarify expectations.
  • Prepare leadership updates on project timelines, team performance, and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, project management, team leadership, or related fields—promo industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of project workflows, task delegation, and process optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and encourage a diverse team.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, project management tools, or CRM systems is helpful.

Key Attributes

  • Positive, encouraging leadership style
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Proactive and solutions-driven
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Passionate about quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction
