Position Overview

Crosstown Plumbing is seeking an organized, detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations Specialist to manage and support our online product catalogs, pricing, inventory, and e-commerce operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with product information, pricing, online marketplaces, and operational systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, identifying discrepancies, solving problems, and ensuring product and pricing information remains accurate across our systems and online platforms.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce & Marketplace Management

·       Manage and maintain product listings across Walmart, eBay, and other e-commerce platforms.

·       Add and update product descriptions, pricing, images, keywords, and other product information.

·       Monitor online orders and support order fulfillment and returns.

·       Ensure out-of-stock products are appropriately sourced or updated.

·       Maintain accurate and current online product catalogs.

·       Identify opportunities to improve product listings and online visibility.

Pricing & Product Data

·       Maintain accurate pricing across all product lines.

·       Update and manage product price matrices.

·       Import new products into the system and verify product information for accuracy.

·       Monitor competitor pricing, including HD Supply, SupplyHouse, and AF Supply.

·       Identify pricing discrepancies and make appropriate updates.

·       Ensure product descriptions, pricing, images, and other catalog information remain current and consistent.

Inventory Support

·       Monitor and update inventory information.

·       Identify inventory discrepancies and work with the appropriate team members to resolve them.

·       Help ensure product availability and inventory information are accurately reflected within company systems and e-commerce platforms.

Warranty Management

·       Manage warranty claims for parts and boilers, excluding water heaters.

·       Gather required customer and product information.

·       Communicate with manufacturers regarding warranty claims.

·       Complete and submit required warranty documentation.

·       Follow through to ensure appropriate customer credits are processed.

Systems & Team Support

·       Provide day-to-day support to employees using company systems, including DDI.

·       Troubleshoot basic system and technology issues.

·       Assist employees with system processes and provide training when needed.

·       Help identify opportunities to improve processes and system usage.

Projects & Operational Support

·       Support and lead projects involving pricing, product data, e-commerce, inventory, and operational improvements.

·       Conduct competitor pricing reviews and recommend updates when appropriate.

·       Work with other departments to resolve product, pricing, inventory, and system issues.

·       Assist with marketing initiatives related to products, promotions, and online visibility.

·       Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy across e-commerce operations.

Requirements

·       Experience in e-commerce operations, marketplace management, product data, inventory, pricing, or a related field.

·       Experience working with Walmart Marketplace, eBay, or similar e-commerce platforms preferred.

·       Strong Excel and data-management skills.

·       Comfortable working with large amounts of product, pricing, and inventory information.

·       Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

·       Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot issues.

·       Comfortable learning and working within different software systems.

·       Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments.

·       Experience with DDI or a similar distribution/ERP system is a plus.
