Asa Business Analyst, you will serve as a dedicated team member who has primary responsibility to support the development team to successfully achieve their daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives. They do so by effectively eliciting, documenting, communicating, and prioritizing business requirements from clients while applying, implementing and enforcing Scrum principles and practices. The Business Analyst will support and facilitate a team dynamic intended to maximize performance of the team and will assist with continuously improving agile practices. 

Other responsibilities to include but not be limited to: 

  • Formation and definition of project activities and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.  
  • Develops understanding of business needs of multiple stakeholders and/or product owner through a variety of elicitation techniques.  
  • Facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst stakeholders, product owner, and project manager.  
  • Helps business stakeholders envision how their processes will change with implementation of solutions.  
  • Builds requirements to accurately and thoroughly capture business needs and ensures user stories are concise and complete.  
  • Builds and updates system requirements specification documents or other requirements related artifacts.  
  • Able to interact with technical staff and work collaboratively to define technical solutions to solve business needs.  
  • Able to perform responsibilities utilizing agile software development methodologies. 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree with experience in a related Information Technology field 
  • Experience in developing requirements 
  • Experience writing technical documents 
  • Excellentwriting and communication skills 
  • Ableto take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility fortasks 
  • Ableto multi-task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and clientdeadlines  
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes 
  • Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization Agile process life cycle 
  • Strong written and communication skills required 
  • Must have Agile experience;methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar) 
  • Experiencewith User Interface designs and mockups 
  • Prior experience with building solutions using Microsoft Power Apps or Dynamics, Power Platform, and Power BI is highly desirable. 
  • Previousexperience working with Government clients is highly desirable 
  • Must have experience in conducting daily stand-up meetings, planning and review sessions, prioritizing tasks and mitigating roadblocks 

Required Clearance: 

  • Must be US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a high risk public trust clearance.
