Job description

Description:

Position Summary

We are a global electronics manufacturer serving the telecommunications industry and have recently deployed NetSuite as our enterprise ERP platform.

We are seeking a hands-on NetSuite Solutions & Data Architect to lead the ongoing configuration, optimization, and integration of our ERP environment, with a strong focus on manufacturing, supply chain, and data architecture.

This is a builder role, not a pure oversight position. The ideal candidate will design, configure, and improve business processes within NetSuite while ensuring data integrity and seamless integration across our enterprise application stack, including Salesforce (Sales Operations & CRM) and Arena (PLM).

This role is critical to enabling scalable operations across order management, manufacturing, warehouse operations, and financial processes.

Our company culture values critical thinking, creative out of the box problem solving, a service-oriented mindset, operating as a team member who readily shares expertise to help peers develop as top performers. Our work environment is collaborative, fast paced, and positioned to enable practitioners to do the work they love. If you lack passion in what you are doing, you are likely doing the wrong thing, or you may be working in the wrong place. At Zhone you will be valued, respected, and we will encourage you to ensure you are making time for your personal interests and your family.

Key Responsibilities

NetSuite Configuration & Process Optimization

  • Own the ongoing configuration, enhancement, and optimization of NetSuite modules, including:
  • Manufacturing (WIP, Routings, BOM management)
  • Warehouse Management (WMS)
  • Order Management (Order-to-Cash)
  • Procurement (Procure-to-Pay)
  • Inventory and fulfillment processes
  • Translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions
  • Drive post-go-live stabilization, user adoption, and continuous process improvement

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Enablement

  • Optimize end-to-end workflows spanning:
  • Demand planning, production, fulfillment and invoicing
  • Ensure accuracy of:
  • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Routings and work orders
  • Inventory, costing, and warehouse transactions
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to align system workflows with real-world processes

Data Architecture & Governance

  • Own enterprise data integrity across NetSuite, Salesforce, and Arena PLM
  • Design and maintain data models for key domains:
  • Product / BOM / Inventory
  • Customer and pricing
  • Orders and financial transactions
  • Establish and enforce:
  • Master Data Management (MDM) practices
  • Data governance standards and controls
  • Data quality monitoring and reconciliation processes

Integrations & Workflow Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external systems, including CRM and PLM
  • Configure and support integration tools (APIs, middleware, or NSIP)
  • Ensure reliable data synchronization across systems with appropriate error handling and monitoring
  • Develop workflows and automation using SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, or equivalent tools

Reporting & Analytics

  • Design and build dashboards, saved searches, and reports across operational and financial domains
  • Deliver insights to support decision-making in:
  • Inventory management
  • Manufacturing performance
  • Order fulfillment and cycle times
  • Establish data validation controls and exception reporting

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the primary ERP liaison between Operations, Finance, Engineering, and IT
  • Lead system testing (UAT), process validation, and NetSuite enhancements
  • Document system configurations, business processes, and data flows
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support
Requirements:

Required

  • 5–10+ years of experience with NetSuite in a functional or techno-functional capacity
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain modules
  • Custom Report design
  • Saved searches, dashboards, workflows, and reporting
  • Experience supporting ERP environments post go-live (stabilization and optimization)
  • Strong understanding of business processes across:
  • Order-to-Cash
  • Procure-to-Pay
  • Plan-to-Make / manufacturing operations
  • Experience with system integrations (APIs, middleware, or NetSuite integration tools)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with business stakeholders
  • Experience with SuiteQL, SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, or NSIP

Preferred

  • Experience integrating NetSuite with Salesforce and/or PLM systems (e.g., Arena)
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of inventory costing, COGS/COGM, and revenue flows
  • Familiarity with WMS and warehouse operations

What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)

  • Stabilize and optimize NetSuite across manufacturing and warehouse workflows
  • Improve accuracy of inventory, costing, and operational reporting
  • Strengthen integration flows between NetSuite, Salesforce, and Arena
  • Deliver actionable dashboards and improve visibility across operations
  • Establish strong data governance and reduce system/data inconsistencies

Why This Role Matters

This role sits at the center of our business operations and will directly enable:

  • Scalable manufacturing and supply chain execution
  • Accurate financial and operational data
  • Seamless integration across our enterprise systems
  • Improved decision-making across the organization
