Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics AX Developer to enhance business processes through technology. The role involves designing and developing software solutions, managing integrations, and providing support to users while working closely with business units to meet their objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with business users to understand their business needs for information and opportunities for use of technology to improve their processes and help them meet their business objectives.
• Understand the applications supporting the users, their capabilities and limitations.
• Design and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; including forms, fields, tables, reports, alerts, triggers, workflow, SQL queries, stored procedures and BI queries.
• Identify and prioritize enhancement requests, create specifications and manage modifications.
• Design, develop, and test customizations to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 in x++
• Design, develop, and test customer and internal data integrations using Scribe, x++, and C#
• Work with accounting department on Dynamics AX 2009 configurations and new business unit setups
• Upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Design and develop enhancements to the customer web portal using C#, SQL Server, CSS, JQuery, etc.
• Manage the development of Android and iOS apps for customers to access inventory and transactional data
• Work with customers and internal employees on data integration issues
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Create detailed functional specifications for modifications requiring third party development.
• Assist the business users in developing business cases, including costs, benefits (ROI), and risks analysis.
• Develop detailed project plans.

• Work directly with users one-on-one to train them on proper system operation.

• Provide ongoing support to users, assist in research, and follow up on user requests.
• Run reports to make sure systems are being used properly/effectively.

• Due to the nature of this position, work may be required outside of the normal 8:00-5:00 office hours. Up to 30% travel is possible.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) 2009 or 2012 experience is needed
• Intimate knowledge of Dynamics AX tables and relationships
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Visual Studio (preferably ver. 2018)
• Min. Two years' combined experience as a Microsoft Dynamics AX Business.

• B.S. degree (highly preferred)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Microsoft .NET Framework / C# Development Language
• Experience with Warehouse and/or Transportation Management/Systems a plus.
