Welder - Heavy Duty Truck and Equipment Dealer
Join our dynamic team at a leading Heavy Duty Truck and Equipment Dealer, where we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service and products to our customers. We are seeking an experienced and skilled welder to contribute to our fabrication and assembly operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble heavy-duty truck frames and equipment components
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques and materials
- Read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings
- Prepare surfaces by grinding and cleaning to ensure quality welds
- Apply knowledge of metals, fabrication, and assembly processes
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in welding, particularly with heavy-duty truck and equipment components
- Proficiency in reading welding symbols and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical skills and understanding of fabrication processes
- Knowledge of different metals and welding techniques
- Ability to operate grinding tools and surface preparation equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
