You will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Through visible presence, routine patrols, and teamwork, you will help deter security-related incidents while delivering reliable, people-first service with integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access logs for employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Screen inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, confirm delivery or pickup appointments as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, trailer yards, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
