Job description

Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in executing business for DLX customers by partnering with the Customer Account Managers and Carrier Sales Representatives to ensure the customers' needs are being met. Using Chaine and other technological solutions to ensure orders are tracked, appointments scheduled, and shipments managed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Tracks and traces shipments to ensure customer shipments are picked and delivered in a timely manner
  • Communicates shipment updates to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Responds promptly to customer inquiries
  • Makes informed decisions and provides quality shipment updates
  • Use out technology to gain efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to persuade and negotiate
  • Ability to work as a team with Account Managers and Carrier Sales Representatives
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
  • Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
  • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
  • Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions.
