Job description

Have you previously worked in law enforcement, or are you an experienced security specialist?

Dynamic Integrated Security is seeking dedicated Armed Security Officers to strengthen safety initiatives within PASCO - area schools.

Candidates selected for this opportunity will undergo fully compensated training at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Training Academy:

  • Training Begins: July 2026
  • Program Length: Approximately 5.5 weeks — fully paid
  • Compensation Overview:
  • $15.00/hr throughout academy training
  • $22.00/hr upon graduation
  • $24.00/hr following successful completion of the 90day evaluation period
  • What You'll Be Doing:
  • Oversee and uphold campus security procedures
  • Act swiftly during emergencies and highstakes situations
  • Foster a safe, positive environment through conflict prevention and community engagement
  • Lead and participate in safety drills and preparedness exercises
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and incident documentation
  • What We're Looking For:Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
  • Formal training in law enforcement, military service, or security operations
  • Experience & Abilities:
  • At least 5 years of combined experience across military, law enforcement, corrections, security, or emergency response
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with firearms and tactical procedures
  • Working knowledge of emergency response protocols and reporting systems
  • Capacity to perform duties in both indoor and outdoor environments for extended shifts
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Key Competencies:
  • Crisis response and critical thinking
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with educational institution policies and law enforcement standards
  • Licensing Requirements:
  • Must hold valid D, G, DL, and CCW licenses
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Must successfully complete a drug screening (per F.S. 112.0455), psychological evaluation (per Chapter 490), and thorough background investigation
  • Must personally own a firearm, duty belt with a Level 3 retention holster, and 5 magazines
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Regular onsite presence is required
  • Position Type: Full-Time | Shift: 8-Hour Shifts
