Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr Automation Engineer specializing in Data Warehouse (DWH) to support large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The role involves defining test strategies, developing test plans, and leading execution across various testing types.
Responsibilities:
• Strong Data and Automation expertise to support large‐scale Data Warehouse (DWH) cloud migration and Modernization initiatives across complex enterprise platforms.
• Define and drive a comprehensive test strategy, develop detailed test plans, and lead execution across functional, integration, data validation, API, and automation testing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experienced Sr Automation engineer in DWH
• Strong Data and Automation expertise
• Support large‐scale Data Warehouse (DWH) cloud migration and Modernization initiatives across complex enterprise platforms
• Define and drive a comprehensive test strategy
• Develop detailed test plans
• Lead execution across functional, integration, data validation, API, and automation testing
• Deep hands-on expertise in Python
• API automation
• Modern data engineering testing practices
• Building automation utilities using PyTest, Postman/Newman, or similar frameworks
• Integrating automation utilities within CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitOps‐based automation
• Strong working knowledge of cloud and data platforms such as relational DB (Informatica Cloud IDMC, DVO, CDV, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift)
• NoSQL DB like Cassandra, MongoDB
• Experience in real‐time data streaming
• Messaging queues like Kafka, SQS etc.
• Ability to test/automate real-time data streaming and messaging queues
• Strong working knowledge of building complex SQL queries and stored procedures for validations, data profiling, and complex data integration validations
• Strong coordination and leadership skills
• Leading Business Process Testing (BPT) with multiple upstream and downstream application teams at an enterprise scale
• Managing onshore/offshore QE teams
• Comfortable operating in fast‐paced, multi‐modal delivery environments (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
• Ensuring consistent, high‐quality delivery across data, integration, and business workflows
