ABOUT STRONG
We are STRONG - A Pilates-inspired, cardio-infused, and designed for a full-body workout that is low-impact and high-intensity. Our diverse classes, including ROW, RIDE, and REFORM, are designed to help clients maximize their performance and achieve their fitness goals.
THE ROLE
STRONG CLASSES:
  • Deliver STRONG Pilates classes based on set schedule
  • Give clients personal attention during class, ensure that your cueing is clear, precise and easy to follow, and ensure clients are using correct form at all times
  • Know client's injuries before class so that you can modify where need be
  • Inspire and promote an energetic environment
  • Balance teaching, changing lights and music during class all while staying on top of your timing and programming for the day
  • Ensure each client is introduced to the Rowformer and Bikeformer prior to class

COMMUNITY:
  • Proudly represent your STRONG studio at all times
  • Welcome clients by name
  • Always know when it's a client's first class and celebrate milestones
  • Enthusiastic and supportive attitude towards clients
  • Ability to develop STRONG relationships with clients
  • Continue to build the community culture of STRONG
  • Assist in the sale of memberships, merchandise and other offerings

STUDIO:
  • Maintain upkeep of the studio in-between classes including cleaning equipment, reformer maintenance, and restrooms
  • Assist with washing/soaking/rolling of eucalyptus towels when requested
  • Take pride in the studio like it is your own

ADMIN:
  • Handle client interactions from walk ins, phone and email where needed
  • Assist in generating and converting membership sales

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent presentation and verbal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours
  • Ability to motivate clients
  • Customer service oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and genuine motivation towards wanting to improve the lives of others
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable with anatomy and physiology of the body, standard movement patterns

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6+ months of group fitness teaching experience
  • Reliable means of mobility for travel to studio location
  • STRONG Academy certification (Provided by STRONG)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Certified Personal Trainer or Pilates certification from a recognized organization
  • CPR and AED certification obtained through in-person training is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Frequent physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Repetitive movements and moderate noise exposure.
  • Frequent standing and walking on hard surfaces.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Possible exposure to dust, chemicals, and cleaning solutions
