Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Ventilation Products - Total Compensation to 155k/year - Dallas, TX

  • Our client is a well-established manufacturer of industrial ventilation and dust collection ducting systems with over 50 years of experience serving manufacturing, industrial processing, woodworking, grain handling, and other industrial markets. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in the Dallas, TX area to manage and grow a multi-state dealer network throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
  • This role is focused on driving territory growth through distributor and dealer relationships, new business development, and technical sales support. The ideal candidate will have experience selling industrial or manufacturing-related products through dealer networks and managing a multi-state territory with significant travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an assigned multi-state territory throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and relationship development with dealers, distributors, contractors, and industrial customers
  • Maintain and expand existing dealer relationships while identifying opportunities for increased market penetration and revenue growth
  • Partner with dealers to support sales growth, profitability, product positioning, and customer development strategies
  • Evaluate territory coverage and identify opportunities to add, develop, or improve dealer representation within the region
  • Conduct in-person customer visits, dealer meetings, product presentations, and jobsite visits throughout the territory
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, track opportunities, document customer interactions, and forecast sales activity
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding quotations, lead times, customer needs, and project opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and industrial ventilation and dust collection opportunities within the territory
  • Travel throughout the assigned region approximately 50–75%, including overnight travel as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience selling industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or technical products through a dealer or distributor network
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue within an assigned multi-state sales territory
  • Experience developing new business through prospecting, relationship building, and account management
  • Experience managing dealer, distributor, manufacturer representative, or channel partner relationships
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to discuss technical or industrial product applications with customers and dealers
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico approximately 50–75%
  • Ability to conduct onsite visits at industrial, manufacturing, and customer facilities throughout the territory

Compensation:

  • Total compensation for this role consists of a base salary in the 70k - 75k/year range, plus monthly commissions and quarterly/annual bonus opportunities. On-target earnings in the 140k–155k/year range
