Position Purpose:
Aurora University seeks a curriculum consultant for human resource management. This position will work with AU faculty to develop the courses that will comprise an online graduate program in HR Management. Experience with online pedagogy is preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Understand best practices in teaching human resource management to graduate students
  • Develop a curriculum of 10-12 courses based on current industry standards in human resource management, drawing on existing AU graduate courses where possible
  • Collaborate with Aurora University faculty to align new curriculum with existing curricula in the Dunham School of Business

Essential Job Requirements:
Candidates must possess the following:
  • A graduate degree in human resource management or related field and/or relevant HR credentials
  • Current professional experience in human resource management
  • Graduate teaching experience
  • Curriculum development experience
  • Online teaching experience preferred
Compensation is $5000 upon delivery of a curriculum proposal. This opportunity is for an independent contractor/consultant and is not a W-2 employment position.
The pay range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted amount the university reasonably expects to pay for this position. The final pay rate will not be below the lowest pay rate listed herein.
Benefit-eligible positions offer excellent benefits including health, dental, life, vision, long term disability, a 403(b) retirement plan through TIAA, and tuition remission.
