Join the C. Volden Trucking Team

C. Volden Trucking is a family-owned trucking company based in Readstown, Wisconsin, providing dependable hauling services throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. We are seeking a safety-minded CDL Dump Truck Driver to operate quad axle dump trucks on construction and material hauling projects.

This position is ideal for a dependable commercial driver who takes pride in operating equipment safely, providing excellent service, and working as part of a team.

Compensation

$25.00–$50.00 per hour

Hourly pay is based on experience, qualifications, and project assignment. Prevailing wage opportunities are available on qualifying jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a quad axle dump truck on construction and hauling projects.
  • Transport gravel, aggregate, asphalt, soil, and other materials to customer and job sites.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and load documentation.
  • Follow established delivery schedules while communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.
  • Help identify maintenance needs and keep assigned equipment clean and in good operating condition.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and applicable DOT regulations.

Schedule

  • Full-time seasonal position
  • Overtime opportunities available during the construction season
  • Most drivers return home daily
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on project location
  • Some positions may allow drivers to keep their assigned truck at home

Whenever practical, drivers are assigned the same truck to promote equipment familiarity and consistent care.
