Job description

The Viera Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons, Inc., has an opening for full-time salaried Director of Marketing.
This role will have responsibility in developing and leading marketing strategies for The Viera Company that result in achievement of corporate sales goals for both residential and commercial real estate. Create, implement and update synergistic marketing campaigns and initiatives that strategically maximize new home and commercial sales in Viera. In addition, duties will include the following:
  • Direct an integrated marketing strategy for institutional promotion of the MPC of Viera based on engaged knowledge of respective business unit objectives, sales goals, market characteristics and trends in local real estate market.
  • Leverage contracts, within budgetary parameters, with vendors and distributors to manage social media, website, billboards, magazines and ads across all platforms, establishing effective distribution networks and developing distribution and targeting strategies that result in achievement of corporate sales goals.
  • Participate in key related professional organizations and promotional activities that result in increased marketing initiatives to meet sales goals.
  • Research and compile current and accurate market and customer based data that identifies consumer preferences and trends relative to existing and prospective customer preferences as a basis for all marketing efforts for the MPC of Viera.
  • Research, analyze and monitor demographic factors related to Viera market and the Space Coast as well as markets in Beyond Viera initiatives to capitalize on market opportunities within the Viera MPC and outside of Viera.
  • Strategize and collaborate with EVP of Sales, Marketing and Community Development, Director of Sales and Development, Director of Sales for VBI and the SVP of Community Management & Communications by providing specific and cohesive sales and specific marketing direction and collaborative input to each business unit.
  • Direct the development and effective regular updating and maintenance of the Viera website and the production of the Viera Vision magazine, including Beyond Viera initiatives in new markets. Direct, in cooperation with operational management, the marketing, promotional and advertising budgets for The Viera Company and related business units.
A Masters or Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business or real estate marketing is preferred. A minimum of ten years of experience in real estate marketing required preferably in master-planned communities or large-scale homebuilding environments. Active in applicable real estate marketing organizations. Strong organizational aptitude, writing/editing acumen, communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to develop and implement processes. Previous team management required.
