Job description

The Sod division of A. Duda & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Sod Foreman to help coordinate and supervise objectives set Supervisor and Farm Management for Oviedo location.  

Duda is a diversified land company engaged in a variety of agricultural and real estate operations. The family owned and operated company is in its fifth generation of family ownership.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Help coordinate and supervise stacking, loading, quality control, and pallet inventory/repair as well as loading customer orders.
  • Help coordinate and supervise, water control ad hand labor as needed ahead of harvesting.
  • Assist in ensuring all employees receive proper training with equipment maintenance/operation safety.
  • Help prepare safety reports, workman’s comp forms and payrolls.
  • Coordinate with sod office to ensure all orders are being filled and communicate any issues with sod quality.
  • Provide harvesting personnel with safety equipment, drinking water, and other supplies as necessary.
  • Assist Supervisor and management with other general tasks as directed.

Education & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Five or more (5+) years’ experience in Farm production or related field
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
