Job description

Apprentice Commercial HVAC Duct Installer:

Working on a construction site with new installations and remodel replacements of existing HVAC systems and ductwork.  Assist in installation of air conditioning, ventilation equipment. ducts and duct fittings while adhering to company procedures and following strict safety guidelines.  Assembles and installs variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plastic.  Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers.  Apprentices are given both elementary and complex instructions by their supervisor, and they need to be able to carry out the instructions sometimes with very little supervision.  Responsible for operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation. Must have excellent communication skills, strong work ethic with good attendance and commitment to the job.
